Evarcha proszynskii

I’ve photographed Evarcha proszynskii males in three locations: the mouth of the Elwha River west of Port Angeles, WA; at Railroad Bridge Park on the Dungeness River in Sequim, WA; and in a raised garden bed at my home, about 2,000 feet elevation, in the foothills of the Olympic mountains (2). Although this is a common species in the western U.S., I haven’t seen a female.

Thanks to Jay Barnes, bugguide.net for the identification. (See bugguide pages 1 and 2)
